Review of "The Daughters Walk," by Jane Kirkpatrick

This is my review of "The Daughters Walk," by Jane Kirkpatrick. This book was about the relationships in the daughters life and everything that happened because of "the walk" she and her mother chose to take.
My review for this book only got 3 out of 5 stars. I was greatly disappointed that the author didn't go into more detail of the walk, itself. I thought the book would've been more interesting and captivating had the author gone more in-depth into the actual walk. Because of that, the book didn't hold my attention as I originally thought it would.
With that said, what I loved about the book was the emphasis on relationships. Relationships are important to God and they should be important to us. The book was redeeming from a relationship viewpoint. The book caused me to reflect on the different relationships in my life and how they should be prioritized.
The other aspect of the book I liked was it clearly showed how our actions affect different people and circumstances in our lives. This was handled very well.
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
